This isn't just about winning a race or logging a certain number of miles. It's about the entire experience of participating in the camp, the challenges faced, the skills learned, and the sense of accomplishment gained along the way. It's a metaphor for the ongoing journey of becoming a runner and embracing a healthy lifestyle.
My name is Eayoall Aklilu, I go by Coach Yoall. I've had the privilege of winning the Jocky Club award six times. I attended Rocky Mountain College on a full scholarship for cross country, where I was among the first two men to qualify for Nationals in various track events.
At RMC, I coached 17 Track and Field All-Americans and led numerous athletes to Nationals. Additionally I served as the head coach at YellowstoneChristian College, where, in my inaugural, I guided four students to nationals, before being promoted to Athletic Director.
My educational background includes a degree in Physical Education and a minor in Coaching from RMC. Running, soccer, biking, community engagement and traveling are among my personal interest.
All of which I believe contribute to a well rounded life. I firmly believe in making running enjoyable while prioritizing academic success and I encourage my student -athletes to aim high, knowing no limits in their pursuit of excellence.
